Donations

Over the years, the Holy Jim Volunteer Fire Department (as well as individual cabin HJVFD Logoowners) has come to the aid of injured/lost hikers, repaired flat tires, removed vehicles from difficult situations and performed extensive road repairs. We are happy to help and consider ourselves stewards of the canyon! This work is done at our own expense.

If you would like to support our cause we would certainly appreciate it. You can send a check to the address at the left. Or, if you are in the canyon and see a volunteer in the fire barn, you can leave a donation with that person.

Note: We do not operate as a 501c3 nonprofit group, but we are not for profit.

We also have T-Shirts (Men's S-2XL) and hats for sale for $15.00. We have women's cut T-Shirts (S,M,L) for $15.00 as well. Child size shirts are $10.00. We try to make them available at the monthly fire drill. Email for mail order information.

HJ Engine
 This is the artwork on the back of our men's T-Shirts. Depicted on the image is Gertrude, our former antique (1948) HJVFD engine which was in service through October of 2009. She is being refurbished and will ultimately be on display at the California Fire Museum at the Great Park.
